Our Officers

The President serves as the chief elected officer of the Association and provides leadership to ensure the organization fulfills its mission of preserving the Newtown Schol, documenting community history, and promoting educational and community engagement.

The Vice President is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating the Association's programs and special events in support of its mission.  The Vice President shall perform the duties of the President in the President's abscence.

The Secretary maintains the Association's official records and ensures accurate documentation of its activities.

The Treasurer oversees the financial affairs of the Association and ensure responsible stewardship of its financial resources.

The Assistant Treasurer supports the Treasurer and provides continuity in financial operations.  The Assistant Treasurer shall perform the duties of the Treasurer in the Treasurer's abscence.
